WilTel, great international rates, 1-minute billing
increments, and most U.S. state-to-state calls for just
3.6 cents/minute. There’s no monthly minimum or fee, no
prepayments, and you’ll receive a detailed bill each month
at no extra charge. Enjoy the great service of LD Post

WHEN EVERY SECOND COUNTS
Businesses and other customers who make a lot of calls may
benefit from calling plans with extremely short billing
increments. That’s why we’ve introduced the PT571 and 573
plans, where calls are billed in 6-second units, instead
of a full minute. Rates will be slightly higher. Full
details will be posted on our Web site soon.
CALLING CARDS FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Whether it’s Christmas, New Year’s, Chanukah or Kwanzaa,
many people make extra calls to family and friends this
month. Don’t pay more than you have to! You’ll always get
super low rates if you use LD Post telephone cards for
your domestic and overseas calls.
And remember: Calling cards make great gifts! They don’t
add unwanted clutter, they’re never the wrong size, and
they bring many minutes of enjoyment for to those who
receive them. Avoid last-minute mall crowds and online
shipping worries! LD Post cards are just a mouse-click
away, and PINs are delivered to existing customers by
e-mail within minutes.

WHY THE BEST RATES AREN’T ALWAYS THE BEST DEALS
When you buy from LD Post, you can choose cards with no
maintenance fees, no connection fees and 1-minute
rounding. Most cards being sold in the U.S. today charge
maintenance fees every month, twice a month or even every
week. In addition, many other cards round calls in
3-minute billing increments. That means you’re charged for
12 minutes if your call lasts only a few seconds longer
than 9 minutes. Per-call connection fees can also make
what looks like a cheap rate, quite a bit more expensive.
We recommend the EuroMAMA and GlobalPAPA cards because
they feature no maintenance fees, no connection fees
(except from public pay phones) and just 1-minute billing
increments. If you see lower advertised per-minute rates
for other calling cards we recommend that you read the
fine print! Hidden fees can take a big bite out of “low-cost” cards and make them less of the bargain you
thought you would get.
PHONE CARDS VS. PEANUTS LD VS. LONG DISTANCE SERVICE:
HERE’S HOW TO CHOOSE
Although LD Post cards are among the most reliable in the
industry, no card can offer 100% call completion --
especially at high-volume times such as New Year’s Eve. Be
assured that the vast majority of LDPost calls do indeed
go through! But if you absolutely need to complete some
calls during heavy-calling times from your own phone, we
recommend using LDPost’s long distance service as a
backup. Their new plans carry great rates with no monthly
fees and no minimum calling requirements.
How do you know what LD
Post service is best for you? Here are some tips to help
you pick what’s best for you.
LDPost PHONE CARDS
feature the least expensive rates. If you’re looking for
the lowest possible per-minute rates, prepaid phone cards
are a great choice. However, be aware that phone cards
expire, often after 90 days. Low rates can end up costing
lots more if you only use $5 on a $20 card before it
expires. Of course, if you’re traveling without a mobile
phone, calling cards are still the number-one choice.
LDPost PEANUTS LD
rates are almost as low as their phone cards yet you get a
lot of extra benefits for the little bit more you pay.
Unlike phone cards, the money you pre-pay into your
Peanuts LD account NEVER EXPIRES. You’ll also have
online access to detailed calling records, as well as the
ability to easily add funds to your account from our Web
site. With Peanuts LD, you just call an access number and
then place your call -- there’s no need for a PIN when
calling from one of your registered phone numbers. You can
still use Peanuts LD like a calling card from a
non-registered phone, when traveling -- just add your PIN.
LDPost LONG DISTANCE
SERVICE rates are a bit higher than for our other
offerings, but you do get more when paying a little extra.
Reliability and call quality are top-notch -- calls at
peak times are more likely to go through -- and there’s
never a need to prepay (or worry about wasting that last
dollar left on a card). Remember, our new services still
have great rates, no monthly fees or minimums, and no need
to prepay.

TIP OF THE MONTH: GLOBAL CALLING
FROM YOUR CELL PHONE
Now that U.S. mobile-phone customers can keep their
numbers when switching providers, cell phone plans are
everywhere -- on TV, in newspapers and in your mail. But
while many cell-phone providers offer nationwide long
distance in their plans, international calling can be
extremely expensive. However, you can choose to use our
Peanuts LD Service on your mobile phone -- without
changing providers.
With Peanuts LD, you simply register your number online
and add money to your account. Simply dial the Peanuts LD
access number, and then place your call. No PIN is needed.
You’ll get detailed call and billing information online.
You can add funds to your account automatically or choose
to do so manually only -- you’re always in control of your
Peanuts LD account. Find out more at:
http://www.peanuts-ld.com/
Of course, you can also use LD Post calling cards on your
mobile phone as well.
